Biography

Dylan Baker is an American actor who began in regional theater as a teenager. Born in Syracuse, New York, he grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia. Not About Heroes, an off-Broadway play, earned him an Obie Award in 1986, and his first film was Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987). His Broadway work includes Eastern Standard and God of Carnage, while the original La Bête brought him Tony and Drama Desk nominations. On screen he drew major critical attention for Happiness (1998), played Robert McNamara in Thirteen Days (2000), and was Dr. Curt Connors in Spider-Man 2 (2004), then appeared in Spider-Man 3 (2007). Other credits include Revolutionary Road (2008), Trick 'r Treat (2007), and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013). His television roles include Murder One, Damages, Homeland, The Americans, and The Good Wife, for which he earned three Primetime Emmy nominations. He also directed 23 Blast and narrated audiobooks, winning a 2002 Audie Award for The Corrections.
