Biography

Ted Raimi is an American actor, director and writer who started out at seventeen making industrial films in Detroit and became a regular in the films of his brother, director Sam Raimi. He played a fake Shemp in The Evil Dead (1981) and the possessed Henrietta in Evil Dead II (1987), and had smaller parts in Shocker, Darkman (1990), Candyman (1992), Army of Darkness (1992), The Grudge (2004), Drag Me to Hell (2009) and Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), as well as Ted Hoffman in the Spider-Man trilogy. On television he was Lt. Tim O'Neill in seaQuest DSV and Joxer the Mighty in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess, and he wrote the Joxer the Mighty song for Xena. He also voiced roles in Invader Zim and Code Monkeys, and reprised Henrietta in Ash vs. Evil Dead.
