Pruitt Taylor Vince
Biography
Pruitt Taylor Vince is an American character actor who was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and attended Louisiana State University before making his screen debut in Angel Heart (1987). He built a career in supporting parts, appearing in Jacob's Ladder (1990), Mississippi Burning (1988) and Natural Born Killers (1994), and took his first lead as a cook in the independent drama Heavy (1995). Starring roles followed in Beautiful Girls (1996), The Legend of 1900 (1998) and Mumford (1999). His breakout came on television as Clifford Banks in the second season of Murder One, a performance that brought him a 1997 Emmy in the guest actor category for a drama series. Later films include Nurse Betty (2000), Trapped (2002), Identity (2003), Constantine (2005), Flypaper (2011), 13 Sins (2014), The Devil's Candy (2016), Bird Box (2018) and Gotti (2018). He also had recurring television roles on Deadwood and The Mentalist.
