Biography

Dee Bradley Baker is an American voice actor who is known for giving voice to animals, creatures, and monsters. Born in Bloomington, Indiana, and raised in Greeley, Colorado, he began performing at nine and studied philosophy at Colorado College, graduating in 1986. In Orlando he worked in improv and on Disney and Universal projects before his first national television job, as announcer and the voice of Olmec on Nickelodeon's Legends of the Hidden Temple from 1993 to 1995. After moving to Southern California he turned to voice-over, with early roles in Cow & Chicken and Space Jam. He became a specialist in animal and creature parts, voicing Perry the Platypus in Phineas and Ferb and Captain Rex and the clone troopers in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008). His animated features include The Boxtrolls (2014), and he has worked extensively in video games. He earned an Emmy nomination in 2017 for American Dad.
