Plot summary

Mystery Inc. arrives in San De Pedro, California, for the Mega Mondo Pop! Comic ConApalooza. Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo want to enter a costume contest dressed as the Blue Falcon and Dynomutt, the heroes they admire. At the convention the group meets Jennifer Severin, a producer preparing a darker Blue Falcon feature, its lead actor Brad Adams, comic shop owner Hank Prince and his nephew Austin, former Combat Bots champion Jack Rabble, and Owen Garrison, who starred in the original Blue Falcon television show. Asked for an autograph, Garrison instead complains that the studio plans to erase every trace of his series before the new film opens. While the film's trailer screens, Mr. Hyde, a villain from that series, appears and frightens the conventioneers. Mystery Inc. offers to look into it.
