Plot summary
Sandy Cheeks works at the B.O.O.T.S. Laboratory in Galveston, Texas, which scoops Bikini Bottom and its residents out of the ocean. Unsure of the laboratory's motives, Sandy and SpongeBob SquarePants leave for the surface to return their town to the seafloor. They hitch a ride on an airplane, but a tornado blows them off course. At the laboratory, Mr. Krabs steps outside and is startled by the sight of a human woman. Phoebe, a colleague of Sandy's, and Kyle also work there. When Sue Nahmee, the new head of B.O.O.T.S., learns that Sandy and SpongeBob remain free, she orders their capture. A rattlesnake bites Sandy during a fight, so she calls on her family, a traveling circus act, for help reaching the laboratory.
