Plot summary
Billy Batson is a young orphan who becomes the hero Shazam, whose sudden arrival and polite manner draw press attention. When Superman finds the Monster Society of Evil stealing food for its master, Mister Mind, he calls Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash and Green Lantern. Shazam joins the fight and drives the Society off. The League, impressed, invites him to the Hall of Justice, but he refuses, certain they would turn him away if they knew his age. At the Rock of Eternity he asks the Wizard for advice; the Wizard tells him to be more open with the League, then sends him to investigate a disturbance. Meanwhile the Society strikes at the League itself, and the members are turned into children.
