Plot summary
To mark five years since Perry became their pet, Phineas and Ferb build a huge shuttlecock for a game of giant badminton. Perry's hovercraft knocks into it, and the boys tumble into Dr. Doofenshmirtz's laboratory, ruining the Other-Dimension-inator he was working on. Curious about the machine, they help him put it back together. Perry arrives to stop the doctor but refuses to break his cover as a household pet, so the repairs go ahead. The finished device opens a portal, and the whole group steps into a parallel Tri-State Area, where a second Doofenshmirtz holds power with an army of Norm-Bots and a cyborg Perry serves as his second-in-command. The remote that controls their way home is broken, and the boys search for their counterparts, raised in that dimension with no knowledge of summer.
