Plot summary

An animated musical retelling of Mark Twain's novel, with animal characters in the roles. Tom Sawyer skips school to fish with Huckleberry Finn, but then Becky Thatcher, the new girl in class, catches his eye and he slips back into the classroom, where Sid tells their teacher, Mr. Dobbins, what he has done. Mr. Dobbins makes Tom sit with the girls, beside Becky and Amy Lawrence, and Tom's frog Rebel ends the lesson early. Aunt Polly sets Tom to painting the house, and he talks his friends into doing it for him. That night he and Huck hunt for treasure and find Injurin' Joe and Mutt Potter with a chest of gold.
