Plot summary
Sadie, Noah and Dudley are vacationing in Mexico, and their parents let the three siblings visit the Hidden Temple theme park alone. The park's guide tells them the temple closed to the public after an incident years earlier, and gives Noah, who believes the temple legends are real, a map he found inside. Noah and Dudley slip past the barriers near where the secret entrance is thought to lie; Sadie goes after them and sets off a trapdoor. The three land inside the temple, where Olmec, once a king, explains that he meant to name his good son, Prince Zuma, as his successor when his evil son Thak arrived with an army of Temple Guards, and that he turned the civilization to stone. Olmec sends the siblings to find two half-pendants of life.
