Plot summary
Shaggy grumbles that Fred, Daphne and Velma coax him and Scooby into serving as monster bait with Scooby Snacks, so the two stop eating them. A hamburger eating contest at the malt shop wins the whole gang a trip to Hollywood, and they tour Brickton Studios, an old horror studio that is about to close down. Junior, who works there, shows them around, and Atticus Fink, a developer who hopes to acquire the property and tear it down, comes along. The truck passes through a dark storage facility, Fink leaves, and a Headless Horseman chases the gang. Manager Chet Brickton says the studio's monsters were once portrayed by an actor named Boris Karnak. Sightings of a mummy and a zombie have left him ready to sell, and the gang offers to investigate.
