Ken Jeong
Biography
Ken Jeong is an American actor and stand-up comedian who trained as a physician before moving into entertainment full time. He was born in Detroit and grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina, and he started acting while a student at Duke University. After winning the Big Easy Laff-Off in 1995, he moved to Los Angeles, where he performed at The Improv and the Laugh Factory. His film debut came as Dr. Kuni in Knocked Up (2007), a breakout role, and he went on to play Leslie Chow in The Hangover series (2009 to 2013) and Ben Chang in Community (2009 to 2015). Other credits include Role Models (2008), Pineapple Express (2008), Crazy Rich Asians (2018), Scoob! (2020), Tom & Jerry (2021) and KPop Demon Hunters (2025). He wrote and starred in the sitcom Dr. Ken (2015 to 2017), and his awards include MTV Movie Awards for The Hangover and a Streamy Award for Burning Love.
