Pip Torrens
Biography
Pip Torrens is an English actor who trained at Drama Studio London after studying English Literature at Trinity College, Cambridge. Born in Bromley, Kent, he built a long career in British television before taking larger roles in American series. His small screen work includes Doctor Who, Jeeves and Wooster, Black Mirror and a leading part in Poldark as Cary Warleggan in 2015. From 2017 he played Herr Klaus Starr across 33 episodes of Preacher, and he went on to portray the courtier Tommy Lascelles in The Crown and Lord Massen in The Nevers, holding a leading role in Versailles as well. On film he has appeared in The Danish Girl (2015), Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), The Iron Lady and War Horse, and supplied voice work for Valiant (2005). Since 2019 he has voiced the Curator in the Dark Pictures Anthology horror games.
