Plot summary

The plane crash kills the family of Paul Kane, and he survives it with short-term memory loss. Plastic surgery and rehabilitation follow, and Kelton Reed and Dr. Harriet Fellows help him bring back the details of the earlier life he cannot recall. Piecing it together, he determines that he worked as an assassin for a secret agency, and that a tattoo inside his lip reads "chilly willy". The boss he once answered to sends him back to work with a political leader as the assignment, and when Kane cannot bring himself to pull the trigger, he becomes the target for assassins.
