Plot summary
Late in World War II, the British army wants a German Enigma machine and has failed to get one before. Four men are chosen to go undercover to the Berlin factory where the devices are made. The factory is staffed entirely by women, and the army has only men to send. The American O'Rourke leads the group. With him are Tony Parker, a British transvestite, Johnno, described as a genius, and Archie, who is reluctant. All four are dressed as women after a crash course. They are dropped in the wrong place, and Romy, who supports their cause, helps them on their way.
