Plot summary
Digger Rockwell runs an oil empire and stands as the most powerful man alive. His company has caused a disaster in Greenland with the potential to end the world, and Digger is the one who set it loose. Now he is on a mission to prove to humanity that he is its savior before what he has done destroys everything. His half-sister, Emma Rockwell, is his business partner. Compson governs the United States as a dictatorial president, with a vice president serving under him and the scientist Ganesh as the president's assistant. Digger's housekeeper is Adelia.
