Bill Moseley
Biography
Bill Moseley is an American actor known for his work in horror films. Born in Stamford, Connecticut, and raised in Barrington Hills, Illinois, he got his first film role at 29 as a cab driver in Alan Rudolph's Endangered Species. He became well known for playing Chop Top in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986), after Tobe Hooper saw him in the short The Texas Chainsaw Manicure. He later played Ricky Caldwell in Silent Night, Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out! (1989), Johnny in Night of the Living Dead (1990), and the Deadite Captain in Army of Darkness (1992). His best-known part is Otis B. Driftwood in Rob Zombie's Firefly trilogy: House of 1000 Corpses (2003), The Devil's Rejects (2005), and 3 from Hell (2019). He also had a recurring role as Possum on HBO's Carnivàle from 2003 to 2005, appeared in Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008), and was the lead singer of Cornbugs with Buckethead from 1999 to 2007.
