Plot summary
After the economy collapses, Unicom oversees most of the world and bans computers and robots. A Synth robot of Unicom's own making enters a television station in the southwest and kills the manager, a revolutionary who works against the corporation. The station's other workers are left with a delivery man from Unicom, who has to get them through the thermal storm that is moving in.
