Plot summary
Megan Graves has just earned a marketing degree from ASU, and a job in New York starts in a few days. Her sister Abby has barely finished high school. The two are inseparable and could not be less alike: Megan is self-assured and carries a black belt she likes to use, while Abby is a caustic Goth who is afraid of her own shadow. Comics and pop culture are a lifelong obsession for both. To give Megan a send-off, they set out on a pop culture bender that takes them into uncharted Arizona toward a kitschy roadside attraction. Instead they reach Skull City Mine, an abandoned mine town that runs as a self-guided tour. The place seems haunted, and its caretakers are murderous.
