Biography

Walter Baldwin was an American character actor who worked across five decades, appearing in roughly 150 films and television shows. Born in Lima, Ohio, to two actors, he began with his parents' stock theater company before his first screen roles in 1939. On television he was the first Floyd the Barber on The Andy Griffith Show and later took small parts in Petticoat Junction and Green Acres; one of his final screen roles was in Rosemary's Baby (1968).
