Robert Donner
Biography
Robert Donner was an American television and film actor. Born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Michigan, and Texas, he began his screen career with an uncredited role in 1959, in the John Wayne Western Rio Bravo. He went on to appear in its loose sequels, El Dorado (1966) and Rio Lobo (1970), and also in Chisum (1970), The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, and The Undefeated. On television, he became known for three roles: T.J., an ex-convict and informant on Adam-12; Yancy Tucker on The Waltons; and Exidor on Mork & Mindy. His comic turn as Exidor, opposite Robin Williams, made him an audience favorite. He died in 2006.
