Biography

Larry Miller is an American comedian, actor and voice actor who is primarily known as a character actor. He grew up in Valley Stream, New York, studied music at Amherst College, and began his acting career as the emcee on the television series Fame. Mainstream attention came with his part as a store clerk in Pretty Woman (1990), and his film work includes The Nutty Professor (1996), its sequel Nutty Professor II: The Klumps (2000), 10 Things I Hate About You (1999) and Max Keeble's Big Move (2001), where he played the principal. On television he played Lou Bonaparte on Mad About You and Edwin Poole on Boston Legal, and he has appeared in Christopher Guest's mockumentary films. As a stand-up comic he is known for the monologue The Five Levels of Drinking, and he later hosted a podcast that became The Larry Miller Show.
