Trailer

Plot summary

Brad Sexton is a Manhattan commercial developer who turns his tenth wedding anniversary party into a pitch for a theme park based on Biblical lore. A display's special effect sets Judge Joan Northcutt's clothing alight, and his wife Caroline decides to divorce him. Brad's accountant, Bob Lachman, has been taking the couple's millions and filing false tax returns; when the IRS notices, Bob puts the blame on Brad and leaves the country. Agent Frank Hall and Inspector Derek Lester serve a warrant and freeze the Sextons' assets. Brad takes a cab to get away, and Caroline happens to be inside it. They leave New York, spend a night in the open, and reach Intercourse, Pennsylvania, where they pretend to be Jacob and Emma, cousins the Amish Yoder family is expecting.
