Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- The Legend of Frosty the Snowman was made in late 2004, but it was not released until a full year later, just like Rudolph's Shiny New Year.
- The film keeps only a loose continuity with Rankin/Bass's 1969 special Frosty the Snowman. Frosty's design by Paul Coker, Jr. is the same, and Tommy's grandfather is clearly Professor Hinkle, the reformed villain of the original.
