Plot summary
Three Little Green Men, the scientists who serve Star Command's Universe Protection Unit, go missing, and Buzz Lightyear and Warp Darkmatter follow their trail to a hidden lab belonging to Buzz's archnemesis, Emperor Zurg. Buzz is not willing to take another partner after the mission, so Commander Nebula assigns him Mira Nova, a prodigy ranger and princess of Tangea who can phase through solid objects. The Little Green Men build a robot soldier named XR and offer him to Buzz as well, and Booster, a janitor on the base who hopes to become a space ranger, is set on joining too. Zurg hires a robotic henchman called Agent Z and turns his attention to the Uni-Mind, the orb that links the Little Green Men.
