Biography

Ralph Ineson is an English actor, narrator and writer who grew up in Leeds and studied theater at Lancaster University, where he helped out at open-air Shakespeare productions. He moved into film with early credits such as First Knight (1995) and The Damned United (2009), and played the Death Eater Amycus Carrow in the final Harry Potter films. He credited The Witch (2015), in which he starred for Robert Eggers, with changing his career, and went on to supporting roles in Ready Player One (2018), The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018), The Green Knight (2021), Nosferatu (2024) and The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025), as Galactus. On television he played Chris Finch in The Office, Dagmer Cleftjaw in Game of Thrones and a role in Chernobyl, and his deep voice has been heard in video games including Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Final Fantasy XVI.
