Biography
Mimi Rogers is an American actress who began her career after moving to Los Angeles, where she studied acting with Milton Katselas. Born in Coral Gables, Florida, she made her feature debut in Blue Skies Again (1983) and gained her breakthrough opposite Tom Berenger in Someone to Watch Over Me (1987). She earned an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Female Lead for The Rapture (1991) and won Best Actress at the Seattle International Film Festival for Reflections on a Crime (1994). Her notable films include Gung Ho (1986), Desperate Hours (1990), The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996), Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997), Lost in Space (1998), Ginger Snaps (2000), and The Door in the Floor (2004). On television, she co-produced and appeared in The Devil's Arithmetic (1999), earning a Daytime Emmy nomination, and had recurring roles on The X-Files, Two and a Half Men, and Bosch.
