Plot summary
April and Sean Saunders lose their parents to a tornado, and the loss pulls the brother and sister apart. Sean moves to Seattle, hoping to put the memory of that day behind him, while April gives herself to the study of storms and the weather. She works out that a powerful series of tornadoes is on a path toward Seattle, the city where her brother now lives. To warn him and everyone there, she has to convince Sean and the whole city that she is not crazy and that the danger is real.
