William Baldwin
Biography
William Baldwin is an American actor who began his career as a fashion model for Calvin Klein before moving into film and television. Born in Massapequa, New York, he took his first starring role in The Preppie Murder and had a small part in Born on the Fourth of July before his first featured film role in Internal Affairs (1990). He went on to star in Flatliners (1990), Backdraft (1991), and Sliver (1993), the last of which brought him an MTV Movie Award as Most Desirable Male. His later credits include Curdled (1996), Virus (1999), and a supporting turn in The Squid and the Whale (2005) that earned a Gotham Independent Film Award as a member of its ensemble. He appeared in Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), played Batman for Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (2010), starred in The Craigslist Killer (2011), and has worked widely in television, including Dirty Sexy Money, Gossip Girl, Parenthood, and Northern Rescue.

In 1995, Baldwin was one of four actors Joel Schumacher considered for the title role in Batman Forever. Schumacher's other choices were Daniel Day-Lewis, Ralph Fiennes and Val Kilmer, who got the part.
