Plot summary
Emily Moore is an acclaimed actress, and Robert, her husband, works as a psychiatrist. The two of them travel to a remote island in the Mediterranean to rest after Emily has been through a traumatic experience. On the first night at their house, a young girl turns up. There is blood on her hands, she is hysterical, and she says her boyfriend died in a hiking accident. Robert wants to take her in and help her. The girl behaves suggestively toward him, and Emily begins to wonder whether the girl threatens the marriage, or her own life.
