Plot summary
Kate and Liz grew up as sisters but built their lives on separate continents. A Mediterranean island is where they come together again, with little time to renew their family ties. Kate, the elder, falls in with a group of locals and agrees to go up with them in a hot air balloon. A freak accident sends the balloon drifting far out to sea. Cell phones are out of range and the gas is running low, so everyone on board fights to stay alive. Back on land, Liz, the younger sister, gets caught up in a crime as an unwilling witness.
