Biography

Jamie Kennedy is an American actor and comedian who was born in Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania, and started in Los Angeles as a Hollywood extra. Unable to find an agent, he posed as a fictional one to attract interest, and became well known for playing Randy Meeks in the Scream series. He also appeared in supporting parts in Romeo + Juliet (1996), Enemy of the State (1998), Bowfinger (1999), Three Kings (1999), Boiler Room (2000) and Max Keeble's Big Move (2001). His lead in Son of the Mask (2005) was nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award as Worst Actor. He wrote and starred in Malibu's Most Wanted (2003), and later credits include Good Deeds (2012) and Trick (2019). On television he hosted The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, a sketch comedy series, from 2002 to 2004, played Eli James on Ghost Whisperer from 2008 to 2010, and voiced roles on The Cleveland Show, Fanboy & Chum Chum and Legends of Chamberlain Heights.
