Plot summary
Sol Goode is almost thirty, an unemployed aspiring actor in Los Angeles who wants roles but gives his days to partying and dating. His roommate Justin, his visiting cousin Happy, and Cooper and Chloe are the people around him; Chloe waits tables, studies at college and is his best friend, though she knows him too well. A night with Tammie leaves Sol unable to cover his part of the rent, and Justin tells him he has to grow up. His parents sit him down about his irresponsibility and decline to give him money. At the office, Justin moves from the mail room to assisting Bernie Best, a bossy Hollywood agent.
