Plot summary
In Canada's Nunavut Territory, a research team gathering glacier ice cores is attacked by a Graboid. Burt Gummer and his son Travis Welker brush off a tax agent, and then Dr. Rita Sims and Valerie McKee ask them to investigate. Valerie is a Graboid expert and an intern at the research station. An Ass-Blaster attacks the plane carrying Burt and Travis, but the two men reach the facility. There the group learns that unusual Arctic warmth has made the region prime for Graboids.
