Burn Gorman
Biography
Burn Gorman is an American-born English actor who works across television, film, radio, and stage. Born in Los Angeles, he moved to London at age seven and trained at the Manchester School of Theatre. His early television work included Coronation Street in 1998 and the 2005 BBC adaptation of Bleak House, and he then played Owen Harper in the BBC series Torchwood. He went on to appear in Game of Thrones, Turn: Washington's Spies, The Man in the High Castle, and The Expanse. His film credits include The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Pacific Rim (2013) and its sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018), The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024). In the West End, he appeared as Bill Sikes in Oliver! between 2008 and 2009, and he was up for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical at the 2010 Whatsonstage Theatre Awards. He also won Radio 1Xtra's Human Beatbox Champion title in 2003.
