Plot summary
Johnny English lost his knighthood over a failed mission to protect the president of Mozambique, and he has spent the years since training at a monastery in Tibet. Pamela Thornton, MI7's new director, brings him back when intelligence points to a plot against the Chinese premier, who is due in Britain for talks with the prime minister. English is assigned the junior agent Colin Tucker as an assistant and meets the quartermaster Patch Quartermain and the agent Simon Ambrose. In Hong Kong he finds the former CIA agent Titus Fisher, who says a group called Vortex sabotaged the Mozambique mission and holds a weapon that three keys unlock.
