Maggie Grace
Biography
Maggie Grace is an American actress who began acting in school and community theater in her native Worthington, Ohio, before moving to Los Angeles and landing her first role in the 2001 web series Rachel's Room. Her breakout came in the 2002 television movie Murder in Greenwich, which earned her a Young Artist Award nomination, and from 2004 she played Shannon Rutherford on Lost, a main cast member for two seasons and part of the ensemble that won a Screen Actors Guild Award. She moved into film with The Fog (2005), The Jane Austen Book Club (2007) and Suburban Girl (2007), and played Kim Mills in Taken (2008), Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014). Other credits include Knight and Day (2010), Faster (2010) and the two-part Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, plus Broadway's Picnic and television roles on Californication and Fear the Walking Dead.

First role
Grace's first acting job came in Rachel's Room, a web-based video series from 2001. Paul Stupin, an executive producer of Dawson's Creek, created it, and it dealt with the affairs inside a teenage girl's bedroom.
Big break
Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford on Lost after her agent sent her the pilot script and she gave a successful audition in mid-2004.
A role that slipped away
In May 2005, Variety said Grace was negotiating to play Kitty Pryde in the 2006 film X-Men: The Last Stand, yet by July auditions were reportedly underway for someone else. Elliot Page ended up with the part, and Grace said she was never contacted and was surprised to read she was up for it.
A first
Grace's Broadway debut was announced in December 2012, in the play Picnic. Previews for the production began on December 14 at the American Airlines Theatre.
Big break
Grace starred in the 2008 thriller Taken with Liam Neeson. Two months before she was cast, she had written a list of male actors she wished to work with, and Neeson was at the top of it.
