Biography
Ebon Moss-Bachrach is an American actor who first came to attention as Desi in Girls, a part he played from a recurring role into a regular one. Born in 1977, he studied English literature at Columbia University and went on to study the Meisner technique at the William Esper Studio. He is best known for playing Richie Jerimovich, the restaurant manager in the comedy drama The Bear, work that brought him two Primetime Emmy Awards for supporting work in a comedy series, along with two Golden Globe nominations. He wrote and starred in Gary, a standalone special episode of that series. In the first season of The Punisher he played David Lieberman, and he appeared in the first season of Andor. On film he was in No Hard Feelings (2023) and played Ben Grimm in The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025). He made his Broadway debut in Dog Day Afternoon.
