Getting LOST (2024) on Netflix

Plot summary

An independent documentary explores the development of the television series Lost and its lasting place in pop culture. It combines new interviews with cast and crew, members of the fan community, celebrities, charity organizers, and podcast hosts, alongside archival series footage, behind-the-scenes material, and earlier interviews. The project was announced in March 2023 and financed entirely through Indiegogo crowdfunding; the campaign reached its initial $42,000 goal in two days and ended with $250,794 raised. The film also considers the show's cult following and reactions to its polarizing finale, as well as allegations of a toxic work environment that emerged during production. It screened at festivals and cinemas in Beverly Hills, Hawaii, Barcelona, London, and Canada.
