Plot summary
Bryan Mills has just finished three days of security work for a wealthy Saudi sheik in Istanbul when his ex-wife Lenore and his teenage daughter Kim arrive to spend a few days with him. Lenore has separated from her second husband, and the visit is a surprise to Bryan. Murad Krasniqi, the patriarch of an Albanian gang, holds Bryan responsible for his son's death and has gathered men to take him and his family. Over lunch Bryan spots the men following them, tells Lenore to run, and gives himself up when they seize her. Kim, back at the hotel, is a target too.
