Toby Kebbell
Biography
Toby Kebbell is an English actor who was born in Pontefract and grew up in Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire. He trained at Nottingham's Central Junior Television Workshop, and his first film appearance came in Shane Meadows's Dead Man's Shoes (2004), playing Anthony, who has a learning difficulty. That role earned him a Most Promising Newcomer nomination at the British Independent Film Awards. He won Best Supporting Actor at the same awards for playing Rob Gretton in Control (2007). His role as Johnny Quid in RocknRolla (2008) brought a BAFTA Orange Rising Star nomination. Kebbell went on to appear in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010), War Horse (2011), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), Fantastic Four (2015), Warcraft (2016), A Monster Calls (2016), Kong: Skull Island (2017), and Bloodshot (2020). He also appeared in The Entire History of You, an episode of Black Mirror, and in the series Servant.
