Plot summary
Draenor, the orc homeworld, is being torn apart by fel magic. The warlock Gul'dan gathers the orc clans into the Horde and opens a portal to Azeroth, draining the life from captive draenei. He leads a warband through to take prisoners on Azeroth. Durotan, chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan, joins the warband with Draka, his pregnant mate, and his friend Orgrim. Anduin Lothar, who commands the human forces of Stormwind Kingdom, finds the mage Khadgar examining bodies of slain men that carry traces of fel magic. King Llane Wrynn sends them to Karazhan, the stronghold of Medivh, the Guardian of Tirisfal. Lothar, Khadgar and Medivh follow the traces with a scouting party and are ambushed by orcs; Medivh's spell kills the attackers, and Blackhand flees. The humans take the half-orc Garona prisoner, and Llane frees her in exchange for loyalty.
