Biography
Charlie Adler is an American voice actor and director who was raised in a New York City suburb and began acting professionally in a 1971 commercial. He later appeared Off Broadway in Once Upon a Mattress and played Arnold Beckoff in Torch Song Trilogy, earning a 1985 Helen Hayes Best Actor nomination. After his first animation role as Spike in Rescue at Midnight Castle, he became known for Buster Bunny on Tiny Toon Adventures, T-Bone on SWAT Kats, Ickis on Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, and the Bigheads on Rocko's Modern Life. He also voiced Cow, Chicken, and the Red Guy on Cow and Chicken, I.R. Baboon on I Am Weasel, Starscream in the Transformers films, and Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe: Resolute and G.I. Joe: Renegades. His work as Cow won an Annie Award, and he has directed voice work for Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys, Rocket Power, and All Grown Up!
