Plot summary
The ponies of Dream Castle are getting ready for a spring festival. At the Volcano of Gloom, the witch Hydia wants the celebration ruined, and she is unhappy with her two daughters, Reeka and Draggle, whose attempts at wickedness fall short of the family standard. Sent to spoil the festival, the pair tries flooding it, and the Sea Ponies wash them away. Baby Lickety Split, meanwhile, ruins a dance performance, is scolded by Buttons and runs off, with the dragon Spike following; the two are trapped in a valley after a fall down a waterfall. A search party sets out for them while Hydia prepares the Smooze, a purple ooze that buries whatever lies in its path and leaves anyone it splashes grumpy.
