- In 2006, the National Labor Committee reported that the Chinese factory workers making Bratz dolls worked 94½ hours a week for only $0.515 an hour, with labor costing just $0.17 per doll.
- In 2004, Bratz dolls outsold Barbie in the UK and Australia, and by 2005 Barbie sales had dropped 30% in the US and 18% worldwide, with much of the decline attributed to Bratz's popularity.
