Biography
Wendie Malick is an actress and former model whose career began in fashion modeling for Wilhelmina before she moved into acting. Born in Buffalo, New York, she attended the William Esper Studio and made early screen appearances in the 1979 television film How to Pick Up Girls! and on the soap opera Love of Life. She starred as Judith Tupper Stone on Dream On, winning four CableACE Awards. She then played Nina Van Horn on Just Shoot Me!, earning two Primetime Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nomination. Later she starred as Victoria Chase on Hot in Cleveland and played Gayle Buchannon on Baywatch and Ronee Lawrence on Frasier. Her film work includes The American President (1995), Racing Stripes (2005), Waiting... (2005), Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009), and Adventureland (2009). She has voiced Chicha in The Emperor's New Groove (2000), Beatrice Horseman on BoJack Horseman, and Eda Clawthorne on The Owl House.
