Finding Father Christmas (2016) on Netflix

Plot summary

Miranda Chester works as a stager for an interior design firm in Seattle and has kept Christmas at a distance since her mother, the stage actress Eve Chester, died on stage twenty years ago, when Miranda was nine. Eve never told her who her father was. This December a long-forgotten suitcase of her mother's turns up, and inside are three items Miranda takes as clues: a bracelet with an angel charm, a San Francisco playbill for The Tempest dated nine months before her birth, and a photograph of a man in a Santa Claus suit with a small boy. Miranda travels to Carlton Heath, Vermont, where the Whitcomb and McAndrick families may have a connection, and takes a room at the inn run by Andrew and Katherine McAndrick, whose son Ian, a lawyer, helps her look.
