Plot summary
Hope Goldman is a famous aesthetician with a successful studio in Los Angeles, where her assistant and PR agent Marine works alongside her. She appears in a segment on The Brett & Kylie Show, promoting the launch of her skincare line, then hears that a competing clinic is opening right across the street; its owner, Angel Vergara, tells her the spot she usually parks in is now for his customers. Her client Colleen introduces her to Jordan Weaver, a self-proclaimed life coach. That night Hope receives a text containing a video recorded inside her studio and an ominous phone call. The next day she learns that an email went out from her address to all her contacts, describing her as in debt, emotionally struggling and sexually frustrated, and clients begin canceling their appointments.
