Biography

Tom Felton is an English actor who was born in Epsom, Surrey, and began his career in commercials before making his screen debut as Peagreen Clock in The Borrowers (1997). He played Louis T. Leonowens in Anna and the King (1999), then became known for portraying Draco Malfoy across the Harry Potter films, from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011). He also appeared in Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011). Later credits include the period drama Belle (2013), Risen (2016), A United Kingdom (2016), Megan Leavey (2017), Ophelia (2019), and The Forgotten Battle (2020). On television, he played Doctor Alchemy on The Flash. His performances in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 won him two consecutive MTV Movie Awards for Best Villain. He made his West End theater debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story.
