Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- After leaked images of the film's aged-up epilogue drew complaints that Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint looked too old, director David Yates decided the issue could not be fixed in editing and had the entire scene reshot in December 2010 with redesigned makeup.
- Splitting the final book into two films was executive producer Lionel Wigram's idea; producer David Heyman initially rejected it before Wigram pushed back, asking, "No, David. How are we going to do it?"
- New taxes kept the film out of some markets entirely: Indonesia's 2011 value-added tax on foreign film royalties led Warner Bros. and two other studios to halt importing films there, and Jordan also denied it a cinema release over newly enforced film taxes.
